About Andrew Johnson

I've always had a passion for Transportation Planning, and specifically transit. In order to turn that passion into a career, at the age of 19 I decided to attend Ryerson University's School of Urban and Regional Planning.

4 years later, and with a specialization in Transportation Planning, I graduated with a Bachelor's in Urban and Regional Planning. After working in Land Use Planning and Construction Project Management, I decided to enrol in the Transportation Engineering Technology program at Mohawk College. I made the choice to attend Mohawk so that I could learn the technical aspects of Transportation Planning and Engineering, to supplement my theoretical knowledge.

As a Transportation Writer for Urban Toronto, I'm able to share my expertise, thoughts, and passion with an interested audience.
